An Experience of Love, Light and Harmony
The dance, often called the Dance of Angeles, is practiced at many spiritual conferences, festivals and ceremonies around the world. I have attended a few similar gatherings before, but this time I actually experienced the feeling of peace, balance and unity among the dancers. It has a lot to do with the presence of Ronald who was sending out tangible rays of joy and love while dancing. He danced the sacred circle dance with an indescribable beauty and elegance. It was a very heart-opening and soul stirring experience.
Roland is from Linz. He is a lawyer. He plays piano and guitar. He sings beautifully (in Bulgarian!) and also teaches singing. He admires the Bulgarian language. He is fascinated with the deep meaning of the simple lyrics in the songs that accompany the Paneurhythmy and brings to life power, joy and freedom to those who participate. As his master Omraan Mikhael Aivanhov, who studied for twenty years under Danov, Roland doesn’t charge for his time, efforts and knowledge. He came as a missionary to offer us the path of love and freedom.
The workshop began on August 22 when we had an overview of Paneurhythmy with a two hour demonstration, explanation and practice of some of the movements.
The entire 23rd of August, in Master Ballet Academy, there was more practice in order to become proficient enough to perform together the following morning - harmony is essential for Paneurhythmy dancing.
The Dance, at sunrise on August 24th, was preceded by sun gazing. Among our small group (dressed in white, of course!) was Wayne H. Purolin, a past president of the International Sun Imbiber’s society, editor of the Sun Gazette (www.angelfire.com/moon2/isisaz) and director of the Phoenix Hearts Center(www.theheartscenter.org). He has recently written “The SOLution: Laying the Foundation for a Solar Civilization”. Wayne is also a man with an experience in Paneurhythmy and sungazing.
The uplifting effect of these simple activities is indescribable! I do not exaggerate, but since then I carry the feeling that if I spread my arms wide enough, I could fly. The three days of dancing and communicating with these pure, spiritual people, were truly rejuvenating. I wasn’t surprised with Roland’s answer to my almost rhetorical question, when I was able to interview him:
Q: How and why do you find time and energy to go around the world and spread the philosophy, laying in the Master’s Teaching?
Roland: “My energy is coming from practicing it with my spiritual brothers and sisters.”
Q: My American husband refers to Paneurhythmy as a form of Thai-chi, is there some truth in his perception?
Roland: “Thai-chi is a meditation throughout movement. Paneurhythmy adds the singing besides that. The word is a powerful tool and it determines our being. The songs which are sung while we dance are joyful hymns of love, make us feel better and energized.”
Q: In this aspect, is there a reason that you learn to sing in Bulgarian, instead of translated versions, while dancing Paneurhythmy?
Roland: “Definitely. Bulgarian language is very ancient and had preserved the energy and vibrations of unique sounds. It is specifically appropriate to bring to earth the cosmic energy through using it by the performers of the special movements. Deunov was able to go very high, to ‘read’ and bring the energy of different spiritual world on this language. That is why he translated only 3 songs of the many he wrote! Bulgarian language enhances the benefits of Paneurhythmy.”
Q: In a few words, what is for you the Philosophy of the Bulgarian Master?
Roland: “Spiritual growth. To bring out the divine that is inside of us. To connect Earth and Heaven through love. Deunov’s mission was to give us the tools, the new methods of reaching better life on earth.
Q: Tell us about yourself. How/where did you start? What are you doing in your brotherhood group?
Roland: “I was 15 when I read a book in which the writer was talking about the importance of a master in your life. I was raised in a strict Catholic environment; I started praying to find my Master. In that same book, the name of Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov was mentioned, but I couldn’t find any of his books. I tried for years and nothing. Later, when I was 21 in France, looking for a gift for my fiancé, I entered a store and there they were many books of Master Aivanhov. I bought five or six of them. I participated in a meditation center in France, and then continued in Austria. I have been walking a long way since then. Here I am, in Phoenix with my brothers and sisters and on my way to New Zealand where for 8 months I will practice the beauty of the teaching of my master. It creates energy and in return I am purified and energized. These gatherings are such a blessing!
To answer your other questions, different groups approach differently the practicing. Some start with three songs followed by a lecture and then a meditation. In my group, we have an hour of singing in four voices which represent four elements: base = earth, tenor = fire, soprano = air and alto = water. You’ve got to experience that to understand.”
Q: There are so many questions to be asked, so much more we can learn from you and I hope we’ll have another chance. In conclusion, how do you see The Teaching in the future?
Roland: “THIS will be the knowledge. It will be accessible from everybody. Light and energy are the future and throughout Deunov and Aivanhov’s methods we are developing the ability to get the things we need when they are needed. That is why through Presveta.com Germany I am trying to contribute to the world’s spiritual education and growth with the spiritual literature of the Big Brotherhood.
Paneurhythmy
It is determined by the Wikipedia definition as a method/dance offered by Peter Deunov (the Master Beinsa Douno) who established a Christian Esoteric School of the Universal White Brotherhood in Bulgaria. According to this teaching, PanEuRhythmy is a science of the harmonious, conscious movements, based upon the laws of living nature. The term Paneurythmy is translated as “Supreme Cosmic Rhythm”. It consists of a sequence of exercises danced under music witch a poetical test. It has three parts: Paneurhythmic cycle of 28 excercises, a cycle “Rays of the Sun”, and a cycle “Pentagram”. It is practiced in the early mornings in open air from March 22nd until September 22nd.
Тhe following seven principles underlie Paneurhythmy: The law of Sentience, the principle of correspondence, the principle of vibration or movement, the principle of polarity, the law of rhythm, the principle of cause and effect and the law of unity or relatedness. The movements of the dance are taken from nature itself. Only those movements that are taken from Nature are powerful, strong and rejuvenating. They sustain the good health of the body and soul. With these exercises one will correct his/her thoughts and feelings.

Peter Danov or Beinsa Dauno
Born in 1864 to the religious and enlightened family of an orthodox priest in Varna.
Young Danov spent four years at American Methodist School in Svishtov, Bulgaria and later graduated theology from Boston University in America, meanwhile attending lectures in medicine and other disciplines. In 1985, Peter Danov returned to Bulgaria with a great knowledge and experience he had gathered abroad, which led him to establish his own spiritual system. Danov became a founder of a teaching that is a mixture of basic Christian values with postulates of other religions: living in harmony with nature, utilizing its energies, understanding and loving one’s neighbor, thinking and feeling in a right way, etc.
Once Albert Einstein told a reporter:”While the whole world bows to me, I bow to Master Peter Danov”
